Hand To Hold

Providing a support structure to ensure you can keep your furry friend happy and healthy and by your side for as long as possible. With our skilled and experienced team, we can help with dog walking, home visits, vet appointments and groomer trips.  You never have to cope with all these things alone!

Over To Us

Providing your companion with a temporary place to stay – a sort of home from home.  Sometimes there are short term issues that mean you are not able to care for your pet temporarily.  If you find yourself in this situation we step in, scoop them up and care for them in a safe place, ready to hand them back to you when you get better.

Meant To Be

Providing a new start for your beloved pet if you decide this is the best for them – and for you.  When it all gets too much, and you need to find a new home for your furry friend, we can arrange for them to stay with one of our experienced and trusted home foster carers whilst we look for a suitable new home, or we can look for the right answer whilst you continue to look after them.

Easy To Share

Providing a telephone service to help you find a solution to a looming problem with your beloved companion.  Sometimes a conversation will put you on the right path – you may not need direct help from us, but we can use our experience, knowledge and contacts to help you move forward.

We are a small local charity and ask for a rehoming fee as a contribution towards the essential care and possibly veterinary treatment that your new companion has received whilst in our care. This includes a full health assessment, and where necessary, vaccinations, microchipping, neutering and flea and worm treatment.

We ask for a rehoming fee of £275 per dog and £90 per cat. If you can contribute an additional gift aided donation it would be much appreciated. A rehoming fee allows us to reclaim the VAT on some of the services and purchases needed to prepare the animals for rehoming. Whilst these fees do not always cover the cost of ensuring that a pet is healthy and can be safely rehomed, particularly in the case of elderly pets who often require dental treatment, they do help us sustain the charity’s operations and help other animals in need. In some cases, a reduced or waived fee may be considered for senior pets, and fees may vary depending on the individual animal’s needs, breed and ongoing medical costs and support required.

We also ask for a boarding fee of £10 + VAT per night for pets benefitting from the charity’s Over to Us service when we provide a safe and welcoming place for your pet to be cared for on a temporary basis. This fee helps us to sustain the charity’s operations, to help other pets and their owners in need and to reclaim the VAT on some of the services and purchases needed to create and maintain dedicated facilities. In some cases a reduced fee may be considered.
